From small grew a great inn
The beginnings, 1962
It all started in 1962, when a small inn grew into something larger. When grandfather bought the old »Planinčev inn«, he renamed it Gostilna Ulipi.
The secret of the name
The name »Ulipi« comes from our grandfather's surname, not from the three linden trees that once stood in front of the inn. As a symbol of tradition we kept a linden leaf in our logo — preserving the memory of our beginnings.
Under Rok's baton
Times change. The menu is now written by the third generation, who alongside excellent cuisine and carefully selected wines also offer rooms for rest and relaxation.
Gostišče Ulipi is a family restaurant. Under the baton of young Rok we create cuisine at the highest level — never forgetting tradition.

The start of tradition
Grandfather buys the old »Planinčev inn« and names it Gostilna Ulipi. As a symbol of tradition the linden leaf becomes part of our logo.

Family continuity
The second generation takes over and expands the offer with events — wedding celebrations, jubilees and business events become part of regular operations.

Under the baton of young Rok we create cuisine at the highest level. The modern banquet hall seats up to 160 guests — the story continues.
